The book is best viewed on a large screen ipad (10ins or more) using two-page view, which will be selected automatically when the ipad is viewed in landscape mode. You can zoom in or out on the pages using pinch gestures in the normal way, or if you prefer you can rotate the ipad to portrait mode, when the screen should automatically revert to single page mode for a larger image of the pages.

The book can also be viewed within the Apple Books app on a Mac computer, however please see the warning note at the foot of this page.

Before starting the download procedure outlined below, ensure you have the latest version of Apple Books installed and that this is your default book reader for epub files. If not, this is available free of charge from the App store. Other ebook readers will almost certainly not work correctly.

The installation is more straightforward if the e-mail address you supply when ordering is available on the ipad. The epub file is sent to you using a link e-mailed to you by WeTransfer.

Open this e-mail on the ipad and follow the WeTransfer link to download the epub file to your ipad.

When the download is complete, tap on the ‘File’ app, and you should see all the files on your iCloud drive. Among these should be your ‘Downloads’ folder. Tap on this folder to open it and you will see the FPFTM epub file. Tap on this file and the ‘Books’ app should open, then after a short delay the book front cover will appear in your library. Tap on the front cover to begin reading.

If ‘iCloud Sync’ is turned on within the ‘Books’ section of the ‘Settings’ app, the book will automatically appear in the ‘Books’ library of the other Apple devices using the same iCloud drive.

The WeTransfer link is only valid for 4 weeks. Once the book is installed into the Apple books library, you can remove the epub file from your iCloud drive if you need to save file space – however you should keep this file somewhere safe in case you need to re-install the book at a later date.

The purchaser is allowed to make unlimited copies of this ebook for his or her own use, however further distribution of these copies is not permitted as it will infringe the copyright.

Important Note for Mac users

Although you can also download the file from WeTransfer to a Mac using basically the same procedure, there is a known bug in IOS13 that means books synced using the Mac as a primary source are shown in the libraries of other synced devices with a generic front cover. If you want to install the book on linked IOS devices as well as the Mac, DO NOT OPEN the file on the Mac, just move it to your icloud drive and in the first instance, open the epub file on your ipad, as described above. This will ensure the cover appears correctly in the Books library of all devices, including on the Mac.
