50 Years of the Dinkie - 1922 to 1972

50 Years of the Dinkie is due to be published in 2018, and a preview page has been added to the website. One of the sections of the book will be a complete listing (with colour swatches) of all the known casein patterns from the Dinkie range. It was always the intention to  make these tables available online to allow collectors free access, and to allow for future updates if any other casein materials emerge. 50 Years of the Dinkie - 1922 to 1972

Work on Andy's history of the Conway Stewart Dinkie is proceeding well. The basic format has been decided (A4 landscape), and the first 40 or so pages have now been provisionally completed, covering the years up to 1932. Small pens from other manufacturers in the years before the Dinkie, and the various Dinkie look-alikes of the 1920s, are also discussed in some detail. The pages completed so far already carry nearly 150 images of pens (all full size) and 50 sets (shown at half size).
